Our bizarre season of The Bachelorette plows forward this week. Tayshia sends four men home and sets up some drama for next week.

I gotta point out once again how bad these dates are this season. We saw a floor is lava date and a truth or dare date. Can’t we get a few people on production to put together something nice for a change? I don’t want to see people playing children’s games anymore.

Winners this week were Ivan. Zac and Ben. I’d say all three took big steps forward while most of our other men remained stagnant or took steps back. I feel like those three are emerging as the front runners and really stand apart from the majority of the pack.

Guys like Brendan and Spencer are fading back a little bit after having a good showing earlier. Not sure where they stand but with how little screen time they saw this week, especially Spencer, I don’t like their chances.

Drama is brewing for next week Between Noah and Bennett. Looks like they will be heading on a 2 on 1 date and I won’t be surprised if both get sent packing.

The Mandalorian is on his way to meet up with Ahsoka Tano but first he needs to stop in Navarro for some repairs.

I quite enjoyed this episode. We saw some old friends, got a few new plot details and saw some amazing cuteness from baby yoda.

I enjoyed seeing Greef Karga and Cara Dune again, both were key characters last season so it was nice to pull them back in again. We may not see Karga again but the Rebels did try to recruit Dune so maybe so pops back up before the end of the season.

After the first two episodes feeling like complete tangents, it’s nice to be seeing some extra plot details with each episode again. Today we found out that the imperials had been using baby yoda’s blood for some sort of experiments on some unknown volunteer. Moff Gideon also had a tracker placed on the razor crest so that he can hunt down The Mandalorian and baby yoda. I like to see things moving forward even if it’s at a slow pace.

Lastly, how cute was Baby Yoda tonight? The scene where they were trying to repair the ship? Baby Yoda sitting in the desk? Baby Yoda using his powers to steal treats? I loved it, please give us more!

As we all slowly erase Clare from our memories, it’s time to dive into the second week of Tayshia’s reign as the Bachelorette.

We got two group date and a rose ceremony tonight. There was some drama brewing between Ed and Chasen all night that is likely to bleed further into the season.

Let’s start out with the first group date where we tried to determine who was the most grown ass man. Not sure who designed this test but it felt pretty flawed to me, apparently in The Bachelorette, requirements to be a grown ass man include: Answering basic spelling and math questions, winning a tug of war and finally being able to cook breakfast. Have any of you ever put a date through a math quiz to determine if they would be a good partner? Yeah I didn’t think so. Bennett is the star of the first half of this date after failing horribly at math and spelling, completely skipping the tug of war and then cooking an amazing breakfast for Tayshia. So I guess totally failing at 2/3 tasks makes you a grown ass man.

At the cocktail party Ben and Ivan stood out to me as the ones getting closest with Tayshia. Really the rest of the guys were almost absent from this part of the date outside of Ed and Chasen starting up their feud. Highlights of the feud included Ed saying “He called my legs chicken legs” and Chasen saying “it’s actually a large bro” both were equally amazing moments.

Onto the rose ceremony! Three guys get sent home, Montell, Peter and Jay. I’m not even sure if Peter and Montell got any screen time this entire season. They won’t be missed.

So now we start up a new week and head out on a group date. This was a terrible date where the producers decided it would be a great idea to have the men full on wrestling with each other. Yes great idea let’s put all the men in direct combat with each other, especially the ones that already are fighting with each other. When it came time for Ed and Chasen to wrestle, I was a little angry. What a pathetic decision by the Bachelorette producers to put Ed in that position. “Oh hey Ed, remember that guy that was threatening you and in your face last night? Well we decided to let him beat the crap out of you.” I was very happy when Ed bowed out because no way he should have been forced into the situation.

After Ed drops out, Chris Harrison asks if anyone is willing to take his place and Noah happily hops the fence to join in on the action. After a spirited battle, where Chasen was way too aggressive once again, Noah gets asked to join the rest of the date so obviously he says yes. Then at the cocktail party, Tayshia asks Noah to shave his mustache and he once again says yes. All this leads to Tayshia finally asking Noah if he’d accept the group date rose and once again he says yes. That’s a pretty sweet ride towards getting a rose right there.

That’s it for this week. Looks like we will be getting a few more dates and a rose ceremony next week and also might see Tayshia put her foot down on any drama going on in the house.

Things are starting to get interesting as The Mandalorian meets some Mandalorians.

So far this was the best episode of the season for me. We had lots of new information and some cool reveals and for the first time this season, I’ve really found myself craving more after an episode.

First up lets talk about our new Mando’s. Three new Mandalorians show up to save The Mando, led by Bo-Katan. Bo-Katan has popped up in other Star Wars stuff, so pretty cool to now see her in The Mandalorian.

The new Mando’s also remove their helmets and one question that has been looming over the series has been answered. Only The Mandalorians faction of Mandalorians refuses to remove their helmets. Bo-Katan refers to these Mandalorians as The Children of the Watch.

Next up we had a Moff Gideon sighting. Well it was a hologram but good enough for me. On top of Moff Gideon we find out that Bo-Katan is after his Dark Saber, so i think we will be seeing her again.

Finally we got a little teaser at the end of the episode that we will be seeing Ahsoka Tano this season! Pretty pumped about that as she was Anakin’s padawan and just a really cool character from the Star Wars universe that definitely needs more love.

This episode got me excited for what’s ahead and I can’t wait to get into the juicy part of this season!

Who is ready for Tayshia? What a contrast from Clare, these two women feel like polar opposites. I loved Tayshia’s Energy tonight and can’t wait to watch her journey.

We opened up on Tayshia’s first night and got to watch her getting to know the guys. This definitely had a different feel to typical first nights as we didn’t get to see a long parade of introductions and instead jumped straight to conversations. Honestly I kind of liked it. Most of the normal introductions are a bit too cheesy for my tastes.

Tayshia did get to meet four new guys. The new guys were the stache, the disney prince, budget eazy and then some guy I don’t remember. The two that stood out the most to me were Noah aka the stache and Spencer aka the disney prince. I really enjoyed it when Spencer asked all the old guys who chased Clare off. Tayshia also liked Spencer as he ends up being the one to get the first impression rose.

Others who stood out night one were Ivan and Zac. I really thought Ivan was going to get the first rose and he’s definitely a front runner in my opinion.

Next up we go back to Clare and Dale for an interview rehashing everything we already knew about Clare and Dale. Okay back to more Tayshia.

Time for some dates! We start off with a group date and this group date felt very similar to other La Quinta group dates where it felt very cheap and that production was just winging it. Today’s date saw 10 guys playing splash ball. Yup 10 dudes in a pool playing basketball and pretending that’s a great date idea. It was pretty bad. Thankfully from here all 10 guys ended up getting some extra time with Tayshia. A few guys stood out on the date, Eazy, Spencer and Zac. Eazy gets the date rose, while Zac really started to build a great connection with Tayshia. We also got a bit of drama on the date when a few of the guys called out Spencer for his behavior so far. The guys feel like he’s a bit of a dick, all based on his initial comment about scaring off Clare. I don’t think this is going to go very far but hey we need a bit of drama right?

After the date we find out that Jason has decided to head home. He still has lingering feelings for Clare and doesn’t think he can get over them to give his all for Tayshia. I think this was a good decision and feel that Blake probably needs to do the same.

We end the night with Tayshia’s first one on one date of the season. Her and Brendan went on a very awkward horse ride around the resort, with Chris Harrison awkwardly interrupting at various points. From there we saw them make out in a pool for a while before heading to dinner. I really felt like these two started to form a very deep connection and Brendan has to immediately be a front runner for the season. I know we haven’t seen him much in the previews but hard to deny what we saw on their date.

That’s it for week 5 aka Tayshia’s first week. I’m very excited to watch her journey unfold!

The Mando is back and off to do another side quest as he continues his hunt for other Mandalorians.

The Mando has started this season off as a side quest beast. There was a lot of this last season as well but in the end most of his side quests circled around later in the season to play a part in the story. Hopefully that is the case once again.

This weeks side quest involved carrying a passenger who was trying to save their family line by getting her eggs to her husband. In exchange the Mando has been promised information about a cell of Mandalorians.

Shockingly things go sideways, leading to the Mando being chased by new republic X-Wings, crashing into a ice planet, being attacked by a spider horde and then being saved by those same x-wing pilots. A busy day for our Mando.

Oh and Baby Yoda eats a whole bunch of the frog ladies eggs.

Season 4 of The Good Doctor dives straight into the pandemic and gives us a very brutal depiction of what has happened inside hospitals around the world.

The focus of this episode was very much on the pandemic and followed a few patients as they progressed through the virus. We had the older mother who was turned away by doctors initially saying it was just the flu, who later comes back and is admitted and eventually passes away. The middle age man who is diagnosed with covid and sent home, only to return a few weeks later and ends up on a ventilator. Lastly we see the pregnant woman who ends up on a ventilator and misses the birth od her own child. All three stories were brutal and show us what frontline workers were facing at the start of the pandemic.

We definite;y saw a new dynamic with our primary characters. Most of them are isolated from their loved ones and all coping with things very differently. Shaun is not very happy about not being able to have sex with Lea. Park has to make the decision to not move back in with his family and instead bunks up with Shaun. We see Dr. Glassman stuck at home and the strain it puts on his new marriage.

I’m guessing this isn’t the direction this show wanted to take this season but I feel like it’s important for people to see and understand what covid has done to certain peoples lives. As we slowly see the return of doctor/hospital dramas to our TV’s I think we are going to see major covid coverage and while we may get sick of watching it as viewers, these shows are going to make damn sure we know whats at stake for people exposed to and combatting this virus.
